Therapy days can be ??

So anyways today we had therapy and, Therapy days are great for foster children. It can be ruff to digest has a foster parent. We have an awesome therapist she is great very good for Eve and it works for her, Today in therapy we will call her Ms.S the therapist. so Mr.S read a letter from mom today and it said I am coming home in a couple of weeks and I would love  to see you and she will talk to the case worker about being able to see our visits with mom and dad have been on hold because eve is progressing so much in therapy and being able to open up a little which is good cause we are just getting to what she has really been threw. SO back to my note with mom so Ms.S asks her are you okay with not seeing mom for awhile and she said Eve paused and said I am OK with that I want to wait awhile longer before I see my mom, Which I feel good about because she is progressing in therapy and she is happy and feels safe with us and I am glad she knows that we are here for her. So therapy days are an eye opener with her progression and makes me feel good about what we are doing. Therapy days are hard on Eve and any little thing can set her off in to a fit or where she just wants to cry like today it was over a chair so needless to say therapy days can be hard on Eve and rewarding to me. if this makes sense all in all we are doing great and moving along day by day !!!

Our March Madness

I can not believe march is about over and kids are on spring break this week so we have been very busy farming, sheet rocking putting in doors and Playing. Jesse took this week off and I am so glad it has been nice to spend sometime with him and the kiddos. So here are some pics about what we have been doing this month and basically this week

our fav was the penguins they are so cute.. All in all it was really fun and every one here is doing well. We are just hanging out and getting stuff ready for spring.. Hope you are all doing well 

Update on life

Well the long wall is here and its going SLOW I will be glad when it is over keeping kids quiet is not going to be easy to due during spring break so hopefully it is nice weather and we can go to the park and probably hit the gunnison pool a couple times that week. So Jesse is doing OK hes tired but seems to make the best of things. As for me I have been subbing I subbed once last week at the Middle and high school and next week sub two days its not to bad and I enjoy the out. Carely is doing great I can not believe that May she will be out of school and off to the middle school oh my goodness crazy. We are still trying to get her room done I just need to learn to Sheetrock myself or have Jesse start putting one up when he gets home and one before he leaves she needs to get out and into her own room its a little crazy and hard in that room for her right now. So hopefully we can move her down there soon. Camron is doing great still a busy body he is improving in his wrestling and doing great!! Emika is doing a little better so we will see how the rest of the school year goes for her. Camron and Emika may both qualify for extended school year so we will see how that all goes by May I can not believe that school will be out Eve  is doing good she still has to be a stinker at least twice a week and has to sit in time out it is basically just to see who she can make mad. are last visit is tomorrow for awhile and I am very glad driving to I need a break from for a little while.

We are renewing are licence and there was some changes in licencing so we will have to see just have to fill out more paper work and stuff and we will see how that all goes I am sure my house is still just great and it would be nice to have Carely down stairs before then so its a work in progress for sure. Well I guess I better get ready to go work out Eve has therapy today and the case worker is coming for a visit today. Hope you all have a fabulous day !!!!

Blue and gold

We had are Blue and Gold banquet for scouts and it was great Camron is a Wolf now and is doing great. Good job buddy. The scouting program is great for these boys and he sure does love it. I am also in Scouts kind of I am the scout mom so I fill in when they need an extra hand. So proud of my little man.

Honey moon stage over

Well has foster parents and kids we call usually the first month the honey moon stage this is where kids are very shy and basically are on there best behavior well we have have Eve since Nov 17th a Monday and she will tell you that. And now we are in to Feb so we have had her about 4months don't get me wrong I love this little girl to death and want what is best for her. Our honeymoon stage is now over she has been a little stinker lately and I am not going to go into detail about what its nothing to big just things that are not exeptle in our home so needless to say timeout is the best option for our kids to sit and think a minute about what they did and if we honestly do that. So all in all timeout has been her best friend lately. Its because she is comfortable here and feels safe and is just trying to push to the limit now. Needless to say she is finally being able to be a KID!! So and yes she does cry and is not happy when this mama has to discipline her where there was obviously no discipline before. That is the thing has foster parents Little by little we find out about these kids why they are in our care and don't get me wrong Eve is a great kid and loves being here and we love here here and I know she will except are rules and still do great here ..

Yesterday was a GREAT day all my friends defiantly made it a special day I love where I live and this community we live In I went to lunch with a couple of girls and had fun !! Got my dad good he almost forgot. I love him though it was a wonderful day thanks for all the BIRTHDAY WISHES. I defiantly am loved one of my best of friends and my totally awesome neighbour got me a gift card and I was finally able to get a book I wanted forever thanks !!! Well I guess I better get something done before hubby gets home and I have my 1st subbing job today at the high school from 12-3 so we will see how all that goes wish me luck !!!

We had are 1st wrestling tournament over  the weekend and it was great .. Cam did good I am loving it with Team take down and he is learning a lot and he did not give up the 1st match good job buddy ..sorry the pics are on my phone did not charge the camera ,, dang it maybe next tournament  I will get some awesome pics being it s a long wall move this will probably be the only one Jesse makes it to but he is busy making money so we can live in this beautiful house thanks baby for all you do. I can not believe that tomorrow is my birthday and how old I am. IT should be a great day going out to lunch with some friends and all that so hopefully a good day.. and then I am subbing at the high school on Wednesday I m a little nervous but think I will be okay its only 3 hours so I should survive... wish me luck !! have a happy night

Book review on the lost boy the 2nd book

This is the reason I became a foster parent is to be an example to these kids and let them know they were loved when they don't feel that way . all in all great book I am on to the 3rd book in this series and its A man Named Dave so I will let you know how all that goes
